I am THAT GIRL because I embrace who I am for how I come. I have learned to value self awareness and reflection, and while working on bettering my weaknesses I also celebrate the strengths to what make me me.
I founded my chapter while looking for a space to be fully me and then realizing I was not alone on this journey. From there it was really the beginning to discovering and embracing my own badassery. In my time as a chapter leader I learned a lot about the community around me, but even more about my own strengths and weakness. After transitioning to college and taking a year off from being a leader I knew my IATG was not over yet, but that I wanted to contribute in different ways. Becoming an intern has been a new set of challenges, but I've enjoyed continuing learning who I am and who I am becoming!
