Are you a child at heart? If so, Dallas Clayton’s work might resonate with you. If not… Dallas Clayton’s work still might resonate with you!

Dallas is a writer and illustrator of children’s books, but he says he writes for ‘’children of all ages.’’ I was first introduced to his work when a friend shared one of his posts on Instagram, and it’s been my favourite account to follow ever since. His page is a gold mine of positive vibes and colourful art that make me hit the like button every time.

The spontaneity and simplicity of his work is highly refreshing. It never fails to put a smile on your face, while also inspiring you to reflect on your life and where your heart is.

Keeping a youthful heart is something that’s deeply important to me. The grown up world can be so demanding. We get so caught up in routines and work and responsibilities and bills that we lose sight of how truly beautiful and magical life is.

Remember when you were a kid and you were amazed by everything? Why would you ever want to outgrow that?

In the face of the world’s hateful tragedies, we need someone to remind us to live a little louder and to love a little harder. Dallas Clayton is one of those people. His illustrated poetry is a daily reminder of how important it is to love, dream, and be grateful. To make magic and do good.

These are the books that I want not only my children to read, but my brothers and sisters and friends too. You’re never too old for Dallas’ quirky stories, and that’s what makes them so special.
